• The majority of the weavers are women who live in the villages of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India. By creating more jobs for female weavers, we are able to provide them with opportunities they might not otherwise have. Rug weaving also benefits the local community as the farmers benefit from wool sales and the artisans create natural and vegetable dyes for the weavers to use in their designs.
